This is fine. I’ve lived here for a year. It’s just fine. Maintenance is very sweet but sometimes can take a while. The appliances are average. The dishwasher and washer/dryer are a great addition, but they are not very powerful. We often have to dry out clothing twice and wash dishes twice. It’s just small. As far as location goes, it takes 10-15 minutes just to get to the highway. Great for college kids but not much more. Super inconvenient location.

I walked in today and asked to talk to someone about the property. Will was awesome. Answered all of our questions and showed us a unit right away. Haven't signed a lease yet, but half the battle of trying to rent an apartment is just getting someone to answer the phone!!! So far, I'm impressed :)

I lived here for about two years now and have only had one complaint (which was handled immediately). The office and maintenance staff are always friendly and even remember my name and the name of my dog. The street (Washington blvd) is very quiet with little traffic and the apartments themselves are very well sound insulated. I've in a few different apartments in the building and RARELY heard any of my neighbors. I appreciate that the office is right in the building at 4140 and they will hold... on to packages. Overall, great place to live! Highly recommend if you're looking for a really nice apartment for the price that is within walking distance of many great areas.

hi
i have been living here at the gallery apartments for 2 years in that time i have had no problems with management they are kind and respectful currently one of them live on site (so upkeep is good as a result)
maintenance is on time and respectful
the apartments was recently rewired by charter communications so the cables are new and in good condition
Sound insulation in the apartments is well above average
Solid hard wood floors (non laminate)...
Electric bill (for a heavy electricity user using electronics most of the time (ps3,ps4, and pc) and high usage of ac / heat) is about 75 dollars per month
Secure usps outgoing mail box with camera on the mail to insure no lost mail
Currently if you have a package the office can hold onto it for you ( at least if you are in 4140 or 4132 do not know if they do for the other buildings dew to distinct)
Would i recommend this place to a friend yes i would and have

I've been living here since September of 2013 and have had a great experience. The only reason I'm leaving soon is due to a job transfer to another city. This place is situated in a great location between SLU, Grand Central, and the Central West End. There are many places to go that are walking distance. It is also only minutes away from the nearest highway. There are security cameras and door keypads inside and around the building for security and I never felt unsafe in or around the building....
The management has been attentive, courteous, quick to communicate and very friendly. Maintenance was always quick and easy. A couple of times there was maintenance that needed to be done that needed to take a few days and we were offered the guest apartment at no charge during that time. The apartment had fairly new appliances with wood floors and granite counter tops that my wife loved. The balcony with a view of the courtyard was great too. There are paintings and musical instruments in the hallways as decoration which are a nice touch
Having gated parking as an option is a great relief and I felt it was worth it to pay the extra fee for that option.
My only complaint is the lack of an elevator which made groceries and furniture transport a bit difficult at time.
